In January 2008, Suzhou Zhaoda Specialy Fiber Technical Co., Ltd. was established in changshu new material 

industrial park with the registered capital 200 million RMB and the total area 100000m2. The kiloton product 

line based on the national authoritative identification of hundred tons industrialization pilot line was constructed, 

and awarded by the state development and reform commission, jiangsu province, China textile industry

 association project. In June 2011, the kiloton product line was finished and on stream. In March 2012, the 

national identification of the China textile industry association was achieved.

The Suzhou Zhaoda Specialy Fiber Technical Co., Ltd. has shown complete mastery of the key technologies 

of polymerization, spinning, solvent recovery through many years of independent r&d and innovation. At 

present, the company has independent intellectual property rights and gets 23 patents. So far, the Suzhou Zhaoda 

Specialy Fiber Technical Co., Ltd is the first company which produces continuously with domestic raw 

materials, domestic equipment, and sells productions in domestic market. The products have been successfully 

applied in the clothing for explosive disposal, new armor of armored car for the Chinese people’s liberation 

army (PLA); and applied in launching and docking of Welkin No1 and the shenzhou spacecraft. At the same time

 a large number of products used in optical cable, electric cable, rubber products, ropes, high performance 

composite materials, and life protective articles, etc. 

The finishing of the kiloton product line is the indication of the para-aramid products monopoly by dupont and tenjin in the field of global 

was broke. It became the history that the para-aramid products completely depended on imports in china. It is a 

significance to promote national aviation, spaceflight, national defense military industry and develop 

application of the high performance fibers in the national product.
